PHI Tattoo Removal.

PHI Tattoo Removal.

PHI Tattoo Removal is a non laser technique used to remove permanent make up (PMU) and micro pigmentation including, eyebrows / microblading, eyeliner, lip colour and lip blush as well as small tattoos.

Glycolic acid is finely deposited into the top layers of skin. This solution starts to bond with the pre-existing pigment which results in the body to repel the solution drawing it upward through the skin. The pigment will be formed into a scab over the next few days after the treatment.

No, here at UK Aesthetics Clinic everything is done to make any discomfort minimal, a topical anaesthetic (numbing cream) is applied to numb the treatment area before treatment begins.

The number of PHI Removal treatments required for optimal results depends on 3 key factors which are size; location and depth. Please note that there will be a thorough consultation between you and one of our qualified Aesthetic Practitioners. It is important to understand that tattoo removal is a process not a procedure.

Right after your treatment the area around the tattoo may become reddish and appear swollen. This is normal and will disappear slowly overtime. Swelling can often last up to 5 days whilst the redness may be still visable for up to two weeks.

The scab that is formed by the treatment will shed naturally between 7-14 days. Hair loss in the treated area is common and natural during healing.

We recommend that you avoid drinking any alcohol at least 24 hours prior to your appointment.

Take one antihistamine before your treatment to reduce swelling and redness.
