Treatment Advice.

Advice for all Permanent Makeup / Microblading Treatments .

  • Do not drink alcohol the night before your treatment.
  • Since delicate skin or sensitive areas may be swollen or red, It is advised that you do not make social plans for the same day.
  • Do not take aspirin, ibuprofen, or Coumadin for two days before and two days after the treatment. However, you must not discontinue any medication before consulting your doctor

Microblading Pre-Treatment Advice.

  • Any waxing should be performed at least 48 hours before the treatment: Electrolysis no less than five days before the treatment.
  • Eyebrow tinting should not be undertaken for two weeks prior to the treatment.

Eyeliner Pre-Treatment Advice.

  • Any eyelash tinting or eyelash perming should be carried out no sooner than one week before or two weeks after the treatment.
  • Do not wear contact lenses during or immediately following treatment. Remember to bring your glasses. You may resume wearing your contact lenses as soon as your eyes feel comfortable. (This is normally 24 hours after treatment)
  • Use ice pack provided to keep swelling down and promote healing.

Lip Contour/Lip Blush Pre-Treatment Advice.

  • Permanent Cosmetic treatments do not cause cold sores, however if you carry the virus, it lays dormant in the body and can be aroused by the treatment.
  • If you do have history of cold sore virus (herpes simplex) we advise you to buy aciclovir available at Superdrug. This is one of the most effective ways of treating cold sores
  • Alternatively contact your doctor to obtain proper prescription medication to prevent outbreaks
  • Lip wax of bleaching treatments should not be undertaken for at least a 2 weeks period preceding your permanent cosmetic treatment.
